In this section, we will try to keep our families updated on current medical issues and problems.

For personal reasons, as of August 1st, Dr. Powers will be using the hospitalist at Women and Infants' and Hasbro Hospital.  The hospitalists are pediatricians employed by the hospital to do inpatient care. Dr. Powers will be in contact with these physicians and you while your child is in the hospital. 

Flu Vaccine

We do have flu vaccine in the office.  We are planning a clinic for flu vaccine only on October 16th.  You need an appointment to attend the clinic.  Please call the office to sign up.  You can not walk in.  We need to be sure we will have enough vaccine for the amount of patients signed up.  Thanks for your cooperation with this!!
